Enlightenment is the highest frequency known to men. Is “the end of suffering” as the Buddha described it. Actually a Buddha is one who has attained Bodhi; and by Bodhi is meant wisdom, an ideal state of intellectual and ethical perfection which can be achieved by man through purely human means. The term Buddha itself literally means enlightened one, a knower.
The path to Enlightenment is through the practice and development of morality, meditation, and wisdom. I won’t be able to tell you what means to live in a state of enlightenment as I haven’t reached this level yet; what I can do instead, is point out towards people who did achieve this level of enlightenment, like Buddha, Christ or Muhammad, who through their life have shown what you can be when you go beyond the 700 frequency.
The enlightened person is insightful and open-minded, is able to see the world with great clarity, without attachment to preconceived ideas about people, places, and things. Their spirit is calm, neutral, compassionate, understanding, and intuitive. They overflow love and have knowledge about the human condition and understanding its existence through and from its Creator.
They see the humanity as rays of sunlight. The ray can’t exist without the Sun, it’s part of the Sun and the Sun can only exist through manifestation of its rays. In a state of enlightenment, you’re not fighting for survival, you don’t need a separate identity to exist, you’re not in competition, you are an expression of the Sun. You are no longer your mind.
If you aim to reach enlightenment, I suggest you start by reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. He said:” enlightenment it to regain awareness of Being and to abide in that state of feeling realization”, and offers a vast variety of answers to the questions you may have on the path to enlightenment.
Because defining something means limiting it, I will try and outline what NOT enlightenment or an enlightened person is:
- You have not reached enlightenment if you think you’re good and others are evil because that means you think of yourself superior and judgemental, and the rays of the Sun are all the same. Instead, you can see people as a reflection of yourself and treat them as what they can be and not what they show to you.
- You are not enlightened if you think of yourself as a spiritual person. That means you try to identify yourself as “something”, which is actually your mind and not you, the spirit, case in which you are still controlled by the mind who fights for its existence.
- If you think of yourself as being special, compared to others, as a result of matching to certain principles in spiritual texts or practices or joining a spiritual or religious group, you are far from enlightenment.
When you surrender to what is and become fully present in the now, the past has no power and the future is no longer a destination, when you no longer need to ask if you are there yet, you have reached the first level of enlightenment.
