Visualization is the process of seeing the goal as already complete on the screen of your mind – it is a core technique used by the world’s most successful people. Visualization is effective because it harnesses the power of our subconscious mind. Our minds are hard-wired to create a current reality that matches the one we have envisioned. Visualization activates the creative powers of the subconscious mind, motivating it to work harder at creating solutions. You’ll also notice new levels of motivation and find yourself doing things that normally you would avoid, but that will take you closer to success.

Visualization techniques have been used by successful people to visualize their desired outcomes for ages. The practice gave high achiever peoples what seems like super-powers, helping them create their dream lives by accomplishing one goal or task at a time with super focus and complete confidence. In fact, we all have this awesome power, but most of us have never been taught to use it effectively.

Athletes use it, inventors use it, the rich and peak performers in all fields now use it. The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams, goals, and ambitions. There are many visualization techniques but I’m only going to focus on 3 below:

Vision boards – use images of things and experiences you want to manifest in your life and stick them on a board. There is no limit for the number of things you can put on your board, but the more picture you add, the more powerful your vision board will become because your mind will see abundance and will transcend easier to the desired state of mind. Put the vision board in a place where you see it often and for 10-15 minutes daily take each picture in your mind and visualize yourself with your dream already achieved. Notice the feeling associated with having achieved that particular thing or experience and live in the moment as you already possess it. Think of the people that are with you at that moment and what are they saying.

Affirmations – as human beings we can remember the past, live the present, and imagine the future. The present is a manifestation of past thoughts. The current thoughts determine the future present. Most of the time we use images from the past to create the future, but we can also change that and create new images. For instance, if my thoughts in the past lead me to earn £20000/year right now when I think of the amount I earn – £20000, I create similar results in my future, therefore next year I will still be earning 20000. With the help of visualization, I can picture myself in the future earning £30000 and I can freely affirm “I am so happy and grateful now (in the future) that I am earning £30000.” The repetition of this statement will impregnate in the subconscious mind the idea of a £30000 income and the mind will start seeing opportunities in your life that will lead you to earn that amount.

Guided meditation – there are many guided meditations on youtube that you can find and use for the purpose of visualization When going into mindfulness, your mind relaxes and the door to your subconscious mind opens to accept whether you choose to impregnate upon it. A guided meditation will take you step by step into creating the image you want to manifest on the screen of your subconscious mind. Similar to the other 2 techniques, the subconscious mind takes that image as a current reality and looks into the outside world for hints that lead you to match the image created, therefore opening the mind to opportunities and possibilities. Pick one that matches your vibration and use it daily.

Remember to have fun with it, as if it is not fun is not worth doing it.
